Buyer's FAQ's - Agent Services
IMPORTANT NOTE: Having your
own Buyer's Agent ensures that you have someone representing YOUR best interest.
1) How Much Does It Cost to have Moses be your Buyer's Agent?
| |
It does not cost you anything. Unlike other agents, Moses does not charge any transaction fees. If the property is
listed, the Seller has already committed to the expense of paying for
commissions. Because Moses is familiar with and can analyze local
market conditions, you can often save money on the purchase of your home by
using him in the negotiations and throughout the transaction. Real estate company administrative fees may apply.
2) Will I Be Better Served By Using Several Buyer's
Agents/Realtors?
No. Think of your Realtor as you would your dentist or family physician. You
only need one good Buyer's Agent. Having several would be redundant and
confusing for all. All Realtors have access to the same information. Work with
an agent you feel comfortable with.
3)
Can Moses represent me for New Construction
(new homes within subdivisions, new homes yet to be built, etc.)? What
about Open Houses?
Yes, absolutely. Moses can represent you for any home that you are
interested in buying.
4) Why use Moses as your Buyer's Agent?
Experience - Buying or selling a home is often one of the biggest transactions
a person makes, but one we don't do very often. It is really helpful to have
the hands-on guidance of someone who has been down the road before. Knowledge
& Resources - While not tied down to any one service provider, Moses
is familiar with the various resources in our area. These resources include
mortgage lenders, closing attorneys, home inspectors, home repair companies,
credit bureaus, insurance companies, etc. He knows how to locate and guide you
through the agencies that are involved in real estate transactions. Access - As
a member of the Multiple Listing Service, Moses has access to any
property listed in Middle Tennessee. He can search for your property needs, set
up the showings, help negotiate a contract and see you through to a successful
closing.
